Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook will be tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend this weekend and the ceremony will be in Beverly Hills.

TMZ reported that the wedding will happen barely a year after the baller proposed to Nina Earl with a $700k ring.

"We're told the couple is having a low-key ceremony, and wants to keep the exact location under wraps, but trust us ... the wedding pics will be spectacular," TMZ said.

According to NewsOK, the two met during the late 2000s at the UCLA where Westbrook was part of the men's basketball team while Earl played for the women's team.

In a 2013 interview with ESPN, Westbrook said that Earl is someone he is willing to take in the long term. He added that he is also a really simple boyfriend.

"But she's a smart girl. She's in school right now, trying to get her master's in psychology. She knows what she wants to do in life, which is great. That's easy for me to cope with," the basketball star said of his girlfriend.

And when asked if there will be wedding bells soon, he answered with a positive smile that time, highlighting on the great possibility of their union.

Fabwags said Westbrook's girlfriend is 27 years old and comes from southern California.

"Nina hаѕ аn athletic profile thаt givеѕ hеr a lot in common with hеr boyfriend. Shе starred оn hеr high school varsity team whiсh landed hеr a nice athletic scholarship tо UCLA whеrе ѕhе wеnt оn tо bе a good college player," added the same report.

She reportedly stands at 6'1″ and loves listening tо music and cooking. Aside from these, Earl also knows sign language.

PlayerWives also said Earl stayed in school while Russell became part of the OKC and played for the NBA.

"She graduated from UCLA in 2011 after playing four years of basketball for the Bruins," added the same report.

In the 2010-2011 UCLA Women's Basketball Media Guide, Earl gave a lot of interesting information about herself, including her favourite basketball player, Westbrook.

The couple were recently spotted by TheyBF dining in LA after the Thunder failed to make it in last season's playoffs, giving Westbook more quality time to spend with his fiancee.

"Although his team didn't make the playoffs, the eyewear designer still has something to celebrate. The NBA point guard holds the top spot as the NBA Scoring Leader for the 2014-2015 season, so we're sure the two had a few toasts to that. Congrats!" added TheyBF.
