Admit it: you're excited to see Lady Gaga unleash her acting skills on the upcoming season of "American Horror Story" as the Countess.
There's still a few weeks left to wait, but the good news is that Fx finally released a few pictures to tide fans over before big day, the first being a peek at Gaga as her character.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Gaga plays the owner of the titular Hotel Cortez - glamorous but deadly who sustains on her diet of sex and blood, although series creator Ryan Murphy emphasized that she's not a vampire here - with a fashion sense to kill.
Murphy does not want to lump Gaga's character with the likes of Edward Cullen, explaining instead to Variety that he prefers to call them 'ancient blood virus'.
"It's not vampires. It's really a form of hemophilia in a way. There's no capes and fangs," he added.
Gaga will not be the only one to have the said virus - her lover of 20 years, Donovan (Matt Bomer) and his new love interest Tristan (Finn Wittrock) have the same, uh, interest as well.
For fans of earlier seasons, Murphy also revealed that "Hotel" will pay a visit to the first season's "Murder House", occupied by Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott's characters. It will solidify the link to the Anthology's stories.
Christine Estabrook's Marcy is also the Realtor representing Hotel Cortez, which means that yes, she will be making an appearance in the upcoming season.
Of course, the series return to Los Angeles is an obvious connection between "Murder House" and "Hotel," but it's nice to know that they are linked not only because of their location, but for something bigger as well.
In true AHS fashion, time jumps will also be expected.
Evan Peters's sadistic character,Mr. March, is the original owner of the hotel, who viewers can see more of in jumps to the 1930s.
Peters shared about Mr. March, "He's designed a hotel to cater to his specific needs, which tend toward the dark evil."
Another star to show up at Cortez is Naomi Campbell, a Vogue editor who ends up regretting her stay at the mysterious hotel.
The model said about her character, "She's kind of outlandish. She thinks she's indestructible and nothing's going to hurt her."
"American Horror Story: Hotel" will premiere on October 7 on FX.
