The specifications for the upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) were discovered from China's Weibo microblogging site, and it seems that there is a lot to look forward to the rumored model.

According to Phone Arena, the Nexus 5 (2015) will feature a 5.2-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution, which works well with a 565ppi pixel density.

It will have a Snapdragon 808 SoC, which also comes with a hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU.

It will also reportedly have 3GB of RAM.

It will feature a 13MP rear-facing camera with a Sony-made IMX 278 sensor.

Nexus 5 2015 camera is rumored to be superior to the Huawei version of the handset.

As for its front snapper, there is no confirmation, but is rumored to have a 5MP sensor.

However, there are other reports concerning the model's camera. According to Android Authority, the phone is expected to have a 13MP rear camera instead of 15MP, although it added that it will feature an optical image stabilization and LG's laser auto-focus technology.

It is also said to have a fingerprint scanner, which was already spotted in previous leaked photos.

LG's version of the Nexus 5 is expected to be the smaller of the two models to be launched later in the year.

With its reasonably-sized 5.2-inch display, these specifications are said to be comparable to existing flagship models already in the market, although this could mean a higher price tag as well.

There has been no reports on that front yet, but with a better camera and a few extras like the fingerprint scanner, it is definitely an upgrade from the previous generation.

Pocket-Lint reported that the LG Nexus is expected to have a metal frame, but not an all-metal build.

It is also said to have two front-facing speakers, which was previously seen on the Nexus 6.

Finally, the Nexus 5 2015 will have an Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is another plus considering that the new Android version has its own features to look forward to. It is especially important for those who want to make use of the future Android Pay.

There's no news yet about the Nexus 5 2015 release, but it's likely to be out by October as Google finishes rolling out the Android Marshmallow.

Google says the Marshmallow is on schedule for "fall," although the new statue has already been standing on the company's lawn.
