The bronze medal slipped from American distance runner Molly Huddle after an early celebration at the World Athletics Championship in Beijing on Monday. Her teammate Emily Infeld  won the medal instead.

Huddle rejoiced too early and did not notice that her fellow runner teammate was behind her and pursuing the finish line. "I just tried to run all the way through the line," Infeld said to Universal Sports. "I don't think [Huddle] knew I was there. I hate to take a medal away from a teammate and fellow American. ... I don't mean to snipe someone or do that. I feel like that's kind of like a [expletive] way to get it, so I feel kind of bad now," shed added as reported in Huffington Post

On the other hand, the disappointed Huddle said, "It's painful to watch," Huddle told Johnson af Universal Sports. "Emily slipped on the inside as I eased up a little bit. She had this once-in-a-lifetime moment. I feel like it kind of slipped through my fingers. ... The Olympics are typically a hard race, not a tactical one, so this probably won't ever come around again."

Infeld was not able to compete few months ago due to a fracture at the base of her spine. But with her consistent training she was able to manage her speed in running, Runner's World reported.

Moreover, in Runner's World report, Infeld did not expect to win the championship. She said, "My coach was telling us he really thought we could, and I wanted to put myself in it, but I didn't know if I had this in me. I have the best teammates, I'm so grateful to them."

According to Runner's World, Kenyan, Vivian Cheruiyot won the race in 31:41.31, second was Gelete Burka (31:41.77) of Ethiopia.  Infeld (31:43.49) and Huddle (31:43.58) were separated by .09 second. Shalane Flanagan was placed sixth in 31:46.23.

Meanwhile, NBC Sports reported that Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce became the first woman to win three World titles in the 100m run. Fraser-Pryce clocked 10.76 seconds in the 100m final run. "I'm getting tired of 10.7s. I just want to put a good race together and hopefully in the next race I get the time I'm working for," Fraser-Pryce said on BBC Sport. "Hopefully, my next race, I'll get it together," she added. She will be sharing the podium with Dafne Schippers of Netherlands, and Torie Bowie of U.S.

In addition to NBC sports report, Fraser-Pryce became the fastest woman this year when she entered Worlds with clocked 10.74 seconds.
