Actress Eva Longoria has been quite busy lately, with a "Desperate Housewives" mini reunion and a Pro Bake Convection launch.

E! News reported that the 40-year-old star recently reunited with her 36-year-old "Desperate Housewives" co-star Jesse Metcalfe.

The pair was photographed together at the LG Electronics Farm-to-Table: ProBake Edition Series Charity event hosted by Longoria in Los Angeles.

She posted her encounter with Metcalfe on Instagram. She posted, "Look who I ran into today! My favorite gardner!!!! #DesperateHousewives #OneOfMyFavPeople."

E! News reported that Longoria played the Housewife Gabrielle Solis on the ABC show, while Metcalfe debuted as her gardener in the first season as teenager John Rowland, with whom she had an affair with.

Although their characters broke up before the season was over, they remained friends for another five seasons before Metcalfe left the show.

"Desperate Housewives" ended in 2012 after an 8-year run.

Hollywood Life reported that Metcalfe and Longoria's chemistry was among the best things in their show, which is why it comes as a nice surprise to see them reunited.

Since the show wrapped up, both Longoria and Metcalfe have been busy with their careers.

Longoria serves as an executive produer on "Devious Maids"and has starred in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Metcalfe, on the other hand, has starred in several TV shows, including "Chase and Dallas".

The event that Longoria held was to help the No Kid Hungry campaign and included some activities and culinary demonstrations from Longoria's cookbook.

Helping her prepare was Executive chef Angel Estrada from LA Restaurant Beso, which Longoria co-owns.

The actress shared, "One of my greatest passions is being able to cook with those I love and create warm memories together over food. I come from a tight-knit family where we value the importance of gathering for meals and celebrations."

She added, "I'm thrilled to join LG to encourage families to do the same, all while benefitting such a fantastic cause."

Other celebrities in attendance, as reported by Radar Online, included "The Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and her husband, Ryan Sweeting, Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott, and Metcalfe and his girlfriend, to name a few.

Eva's boyfriend, Jose Antonio Baston failed to make it to the event, so she ended up hanging out with her former co-star and his girl instead.
