Expect a better camera when the iPhone 6s is released by next month.
Business Insider reported that the the shooter of the upcoming Apple phone may come with a bigger sensor capable of taking more light and an accompanying lens which will work best with the improved senrosr.
"This means we can expect the iPhone 6S to capture higher-quality photos than the iPhone 6," the outlet said.
The company has already started ordering supplies to make "five-element lenses" for the new iPhone which are designed to irk with a 12MP camera.
A Business Insider source said that "these components are said to be in the mass-production stage and are on schedule."
Aside from this, Apple is also reportedly ordering six-element lenses for the next generation of iPhones after the 6s.
In explaining the word "elements" for the camera lenses, Business Insider reported that this pertains to the plastic layer making up a part of the whole camera lens.
"Each of these elements, or layers, actually functions as its own standalone lens. But when they're combined into one lens, they allow a camera to capture more detailed and complex information. So a five-element lens such as the one that's in your smartphone's camera could actually be considered as five lenses crammed into one," the same report said.
With these rumors, Apple fans are certainly eagerly awaiting the release date of the iPhone 6s.
