The Fifth Harmony girls have unveiled their latest song "I'm in Love With a Monster."
The track will be featured in the upcoming animated "Hotel Transylvania 2" film due in theaters on Sept. 25. Harmony Samuels produced the song, which showcases "deep, heavy beats, trombones and drums over an almost creepy base," MTV noted.
Listen to "I'm in Love With a Monster" below.
The track features the girl group, consisting of Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, and Lauren Jauregui, singing about a guy who is a monster, but they can't seem to quit him.
"Wrap me in leather before you wrap me in lace/ We breaking rules like we changing the game/ He's trying it on, and he's ticking me off/ Say what you want but I won't ever be told/ I'm in love with a monster," the ladies sing, as quoted by MTV.
Samuels wrote the song along with Carmen Reece, Sarah Mancuso, Edgar Etienne, and Ericka Coulter, PR Newswire reported.
"There are few groups out there that can match the incredibly fun feel and animated vision that Genndy Tartakovsky is bringing to 'Hotel Transylvania 2,' and Fifth Harmony knocked it out of the park. The song is exactly what we were hoping for," said Lia Vollack, president of Worldwide Music for Sony Pictures, as quoted by PR Newswire.
"Hotel Transylvania 2" will pick up a few years after the events of the original film. The movie stars the voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Mel Brooks, Kevin James, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, and David Spade, Sony Pictures Animation listed.
Genndy Tartakovsky directed the flick from a script written by Robert Smigel, Sony Pictures Animation added.
5H Celebrates 'Worth It,' Teases 'Rock Your Candie's' MV
Fifth Harmony is celebrating the double platinum status of "Worth It," one of the tracks from their debut studio album this year, "Reflection," MTV wrote.
Aside from this, the girls also teased their upcoming music video for "Rock Your Candie's," which is a part of their Candie's for Kohl's fashion campaign featuring their "5 Girls, 5 Styles" collection, Hollywood Life reported.
"We are so excited to be able to partner with Candie's on this song! They have such an amazing line with beautiful clothes and super cute shoes," Hernandez said of the new single, as quoted by Hollywood Lofe. "Shooting the Candie's commercials and music video was really fun and we can't wait for everyone to see it," Jauregui added.
The full music video will be released on Aug. 16 at the Teen Choice Awards, the news outlet noted. Fifth Harmony is the first girl group to campaign for Candie's since Destiny's Child.
