Mexican singers Aleks Syntek and Cristian Castro are set to embark on a joint tour before this year ends.

Fox News Latino reported that the duo's tour will kick off in Nov. in Mexico City, according to event organizers. Syntek and Castro previously showcased their chemistry in the 2014 duet "Tan Cerquita."

"We're going to combine many years of songs in a project of the splendor our fans deserve for all they have given us. For me it means coming out of my comfort zone, the challenge of doing a new version of the songs made famous by the great Cristian Castro, as well as reinventing my own to be sung with his voice," Syntek, 45, said of the collaboration, as quoted by Fox News Latino.

Syntek and Castro's first concert will be held at the National Auditorium on Nov. 5. The recording artists' greatest hits will "will alternate, will be combined and will even be performed as mashups," the tour's organizers said, the news outlet added.

Some of the tracks that are expected to be featured in the upcoming concert are "Sexo, Pudor y Lagrimas," "Azul," "Mis Impulsos Sobre Ti," "Lloviendo Estrellas," "Corazones Invencibles," and "Es Mejor Asi," Fox News Latino listed. Syntek will also serve as the event's musical director.

Back in February, Castro opened up about how much he liked working with Syntek.

"You're a great colleague and people truly love you, like myself, I admire you, I've always wanted to work with you and meet your family and get to know your work style, which I loved," Castro said, as quoted by El Diario.

Syntek recently celebrated his 25th year in music through the album "Romantico Desliz," El Diario reported. According to the singer, "Tan Cerquita" bears resemblance to Castro's 1992 hit, "No Podras," especially when it comes to "aesthetics" and "freshness."

Syntek also speaks highly of Castro, saying that they get along well and that they complement each other's musical personalities.

"Cristian has his personality and I have mine, but musically speaking, our voices match well together," he explained, as translated by El Diario from Radio Formula. "We've been wanting to work together for a long time."

Aside from Castro, Syntek also collaborated with Mexican pop singer El Dasa on "Corazones Con Gente" for the TeletonUSA event in Dec. 2014. The track, which was first featured at the Teletón México 15 years ago, was regarded by Syntek as "one of the most beautiful songs" he wrote, Latin Times reported.
