Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 owners have been through a rough ride recently, with the Multi-Window update creating more problems than not. The nation's largest wireless service provider is trying to rectify the inconvenience, however, with a new software update.

The new update, labeled firmware JZ054K.I535VRBMF1, is a rather small download, but it comes with one very important fix: connectivity. It wasn't long after the Multi-Window update, firmware JZO54K.I535VRBMD3, released in late May that users began complaining of a very serious issue.

"I recently updated my phone. And now I'm having problems connecting to 4g. I know I have coverage where I live at, but now all Im getting is 3g. This is very frustrating. Everything takes forever to load. When is this going to get fixed?" a commenter named Carlos said in an earlier Latinos Post article detailing the problems.

The 4G LTE connectivity issue seemed to apply across the board. Most people reported being bumped down to 3G networks, and whenever 4G LTE was possible, it was barely a bar or two. In essence, Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 owners got pushed back in time, to an era of 3G and slow download speeds.

Luckily the new firmware update seems to have fixed it. Most users are reporting improved speeds and connectivity, citing finally being able to hop back on Verizon's 4G LTE network, the largest in the country.

As with all Android update rollouts, the release will be staggered across different regions, meaning some will get it before others. If the ire of the Verizon Galaxy S3 community is any indicator, however, this is one patch everyone's going to want.

Let us know if you've downloaded the new Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 update and if you notice any improvements other than connectivity in the comments section below.
