MTV's "Teen Wolf" is making headlines as Kira Yukimura, a powerful character wielding the thunder kitsune and played by Arden Cho, discovers something awful about herself that would likely force her to leave her pack.

In episode 8 of the series' latest season, a lot of questions had been answered, particularly on the story behind Kira's glowing powers that has recently been going off the rails.

A recap of the episode from TV Line revealed that between evading an arrest for murder and finding out how much the Dread Doctors control her, Kira has already found enough reason to leave Beacon Hills and her pack even if it means getting separated from her one true love, Scott (played by Tyler Posey).

Apparently, the thunder kitsune had been controlled by the supernatural doctors since the beginning of Season 5.

It means that she may have been responsible for many deaths in the past, which may include the murder victim Mama McCall (Melissa Ponzio) found in her kitchen, her chest struck with Kira's signature weapon.

According to Zap2It, this realization came after she finished reading the book that triggered a heinous memory.

It revealed how she had been put under a sleepwalker voodoo control by the Dread Doctors the night that creepy villains pulled her out of her parents' car and stuck a needle in her eye.

It was struck by lightning and that activated her thunder kitsune.

Because of this, Kira realized that the Dread Doctors had been controlling her all along, leaving the Yukimuras no choice but to go as far away from Beacon Hills and from the grasp of the Doctors' control as possible.

However, TV Fanatic saw this as "a shame" because it looked like the Yukimuras are merely running away from the action instead of finding answers in a place other far from Beacon Hills.

On the other hand, not having Kira around may be bad for the pack, Zap2It revealed, as the Dread Doctors continue to control the game which Scott and the others do not even know they are playing.

While the battle continues, the supernatural doctors pursue their quest to spread fear and break the McCall pack into pieces, leaving Scott and the others in darker times ahead of them.

At the end of the episode, Scott remorsefully declares: "Something has changed between me and my friends and I think it's because of me, but I don't know how to fix it."
