Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date Inching? 5 Biggest Specs & Features Upgrades From Surface Pro 2 [Rumors]

The release of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is coming.
If you don't think the company can push through with the October release, you might be in for a surprise: Microsoft is already slashing $150 off the last model.
Thurrot blog claimed that Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is already expected for release this October.
DigiTimes reported the the successor to the Surface Pro 3 will come with a new power-efficient processor in the form of the Skylake, expected to boost the gadget's battery life to up to 10.5 hours.
There have been a lot of comparisons between the SP 4 and SP 3, but how does Microsoft's latest fare beside the older but powerful Surface Pro 2?
According to the official website, the Surface Pro 2 runs on the Windows 8.1 Pro. It has a a 10.81" x 6.81" x 0.53" dimension and weights only 2 pounds. There is a 64/128GB version with 4GB of RAM, and a 256/512GB version with 8GB of RAM.
It has a 10.6-inch ClearType Full HD Display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and a 10-point multi-touch, durable display. It has two 720p HD cameras, microphone, and Dolby sound stereo speakers.
Meanwhile, the Surface Pro 4 is expected to sport a 12-inch display with an enhanced Surface Pen stylus, fully equipped with a face recognition software with the help of the Intel RealSense 3D camera, according to Yibada.
Then, there's the Windows Hello feature - a new biometric authentication system in Windows 10 that works with a fingerprint reader or an Intel RealSense 3D camera, which means that you can basically log in your gadget with your face.
Yibada said that a number of laptops and PCs already started shipping with this technology and it's expected that more will follow suit this year.
More advanced specs are expected to be announced for the Surface Pro 4 in October.
DigiTimes also reported that despite demands for tablets weakening, 2-in-1 devices like the Surface Pro have potential in the market, which is why Microsoft has been aggressive in developing the Surface line of products.
Along with the launch of the Surface Pro 4, the International Business Times reported that Microsoft is also expected to unveil the Microsoft Band 2 - the Redmont giant's fitness band - in October, along with the new Windows 10 Mobile Flagship smartphones and the Surface Pro 4.
