Apple, Inc. is set to release its largest tablet yet.
As rumors and speculations around the iPad Pro circle the internet, the company is filing patent after patent for new technologies that the International Business Times believes to be part of the upcoming gadget.
The iPad, which was dubbed the "most successful tablet in the world," is now finding that demand is dwindling.
Analysts say the market has reached a saturation point. However, Value Walk reported that the Cupertino-based company is not one to give up.
From the basic tablets, Apple is now rumored to have its largest iPad specialized for business use, as reported by Computing UK.
With enterprise-grade tablets and hybrids making their way to the market, it makes sense that the company will plan its device around the same sector.
With this came the announcement of Apple Inc's partnership with IBM in 2014, in order to "transform enterprise mobility" of their gadgets.
Although the iPad and iPhone were specified as the target for the "enterprise solutions including native apps, developed from the ground up", the website said that the move seemed to be focused more on the hardware than the software.
The latest for the enterprise-grade update are rumors concerning a new Stylus patent for Apple, which is said to contain a camera to help it identify the surface it passes over.
Rumors also say that Apple is planning on replicating the feel of the surface that the stylus writes on, with the help of a haptic feedback technology that was first found in the Apple Watch.
There is also a bigger connection to the business-centered iPad Pro. Value Walk added that with corporations like Disney investigating the possibility of using the haptic technology in their theme parts, the patented product is thought to become a significant breakthrough, and is the reason Apple is keen on collaborating with these companies.
While the haptic technology is headline-grabbing as far as innovations go, Value Walk clarified that the company hasn't confirmed the inclusion of the tech in their new iPad Pro.
Apple has been investigating on it since 2011, and it's unsure when it will actually come into fruition. However, from its description, it is deemed ideal for the iPad Pro.
Details have yet to be confirmed by the company.
Do you think a specialized iPad for business is a good idea?
