Sony has just released its new line of smart phones, and it's perfect for those who love selfies.

NBC news reported that the company is releasing two new phones for selfie lovers to choose from: the C5 Ultra with a large 6-inch screen, and a smaller M5 with a 5-inch display.

Both phones have Micro-SD slots to expand phone memory, and come in single and dual-SIM variants.

As far as phones go, which one should you choose?

The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is a 6-inch, full HD IPS display at 1920 x 1080 pixels. It runs on a 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor and is installed with the Google Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB flash memory, although it can be extended up to 200 GB with a MicroSD Card.

For the selfie generation smartphone users, it boasts 13 MP cameras on both sides, the rear having an LED Flash. The front cam comes equipped with the Selfie Flash.

The C5 Ultra has a 2930 mAH battery, with a talk time of up to 14 hours and 24 minutes, with a standby time of 769 hours.

Music lovers will also have a kick out of the model because the battery can last up to over 60 hours music listening time, although video viewing comes up short as it could only last 7 hours and 47 minutes.

The Sony Xperia M5, on the other hand, is smaller with a 5-inch display. It runs on a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-core processor and is installed with the Google Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

It has 3 GB RAM, and like the C5 ultra, has 16 GB flash memory that can extend up to 200 GB with a MicroSD card.

It also has the added benefit of being waterproof,

The camera for the M5 is even better than that of the C5 Ultra: Sony said that the M5 has a 21.5 MP rear camera with hybrid AF and up to 5x clear image zoom.

The front camera is a 13-megapixel unit with FHD 1080 for video capture.

However, with a 2600 mAH battery, it doesn't last as long as the C5, although it's not so bad, either. The battery lasts up to 11 hours 49 minutes talk time, but can stay on standby for 671 hours.

Music listening can go non-stop for up to 62 hours 32 minutes, but only 8 hours on video playback.

The Verge reported that there has been no word from Sony about the price.

However the phones are said to be available in selected countries by mid-August, so hopefully, price list can be unveiled before then.
