Brain-eating video game character John Malcovich will appear in the upcoming "Reckoning" add-on pack of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" for its Exo Zombies mode.
Metro said Malcovich used to be a playable character in the game instalment.
Now he seems to be a permanent part of the game as Rose McGowan does not want him dead.
"Rose - who is no stranger to zombies thanks to her machine gun-toting role in Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror - voices one of four survivors along with Bill Paxton, Jon Bernthal and Evil Dead's Bruce Campbell," explained the same report.
Mashable reported that the new DLC pack has a new map for Exo Zombies that pits the survivors versus the undead hordes.
This add-on is reportedly the fourth and final expansion of the game. It is expected to add four new multiplayer maps - Fracture, Overload, Quarantine and Swarm - when using the player-vs-player mode.
Each of the maps could be described in detail by Polygon:
Overload - Players can have a great view of New Baghdad's downtown. "The map's multiple levels and long perimeter site-lines highlight medium to long-range combat, and firing a shot at the lamps will send enemies flying in a burst of energy."
Quarantine - This map has tight corners which enables players to perform various types of gameplay.
Fracture - Gamers can discover numerous secrets in this map featuring an arctic excavation site. "Take refuge behind wind turbines and heavy equipment through large combat areas cradled on the shelf of a glacier," acvordin to Polygon.
Swarm - A medium-sized map shows the narrow roads of Seoul, South Korea.
Set to be launched on August 4 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 and for PlayStation consoles and PC a month after, the "Advanced Warfare" DLC is expected to cost $14.99.
It is also part of Advanced Warfare's DLC Season Pass, which contains all four packs for the price of $49.99 bundle.
Michael Condrey thanked fans of the game through Asia PC Mag.
"The support and feedback we've received from the community continues to inspire us, and we've taken that inspiration to heart with Reckoning to deliver a new set of multiplayer maps and the conclusion to Exo Zombies," he said.
He added that the game has received great attention from the public because its fans had been very supportive.
"We are grateful to all of our fans and hope everyone enjoys playing the new content as much as we enjoyed creating it," Condrey also said.
