Hillary Rodham Clinton Reveals Climate Change Battle Plan! Here's How She'll Do It

Hillary Clinton is not a stranger in politics: she was the United States Secretary of State in the Obama administration from 2009 to 2013, and a New York Senator from 2001 to 2009.

Don't forget that as the wife of former President Bill Clinton, she was also the First Lady of the United States during his terms from 1993 to 2001.

Currently a candidate in the Democratic Party primaries for the 2016 presidential election, Clinton's campaign is pushing for increasing renewable power production with her ambitious renewable energy plans.

Policy Mic reported that the front runner of the Democratic party has released the first two major proposals in tackling climate change.

The plan was announced through a video that Clinton's camp released on Sunday, where she announced two enterprising goals.

The first is her commitment to have more than half a billion solar panels installed across the United States by the end of her first term. The second is to power every home with clean renewable energy within the next decade, should she be seated at the White House.

The two goals, according to Business Insider, are the first elements of what Clinton said will be a comprehensive agenda against climate change.

Her campaign released numbers as well, saying that the goals she had in mind would lead to a 700 percent increase in solar capacity levels. This could eventually lead to one third of all electricity in the country being generated from renewable resources.

Clinton said of her goals, "We're on the cusp of a new era. We can create a more open, efficient and resilient grid that connects us, empowers us-improves our health and benefits us all."

Her proposals will be discussed during a campaign stop in Iowa, kicking off the 2016 presidential nominating race.

The Democratic candidate promised to make climate change a key pillar for her campaign, and she is expected to discuss the first steps to fleshing out the issue.

While she's very active in politics, it seems that voters from Colorado, Iowa, and Virginia think she's not trustworthy enough for the White House.

A poll from Quinnipiac showed that only 34 percent of Colorado voters think she can be trusted. In Iowa, 33 percent think her untrustworthy, while she's underwater in Virginia, where 39 percent claim not to put their trust in her.

The Daily Mail reported that she used a private jet just hours after she launched her global warming push, with an aircraft that burns 347 gallons of fuel every hour - not exactly environmentally friendly of her.

What do you think about Hillary Clinton's platform for presidency?
