NBA legend Michael Jordan was recently spotted clubbing over the weekend in San Diego and enjoying a really costly tequila.

TMZ said the former NBA star was dancing and enjoying his time inside the Parq Restaurant & Night club on Saturday night along with his wide and NFL star Dwight Freeney.

"He got his own private VIP area ... with security watching his back the whole time. We're told Jordan was drinking a bottle of Clase Azul Ultra tequila," said TMZ.

The entertainment news outlet also said that the drink costs around $4,000-a-pop.

The Clase Azul Ultra Tequila, according to Quality Liquor Store, is made from 100 percent "Tequiliana Weber Blue Agave" which is double distilled and is aged for a minimum of three years.

"This unrivaled Tequila is one of the finest ever produced. This first edition is limited to 100 bottles, 50 for Mexico and 50 for the United States, a true collector's piece," the description on the Quality Liquor Store website said.

It was also added that its decanter is made from ceramic which takes about 40 days to produce.

"The medallion is a hand-made pure Silver 'Ley .925' by renowned artist Leon Fernandez, hand painted with pure Platinum paint by artist Tomas Saldivar, and a label of 24K Gold. Topped with a Pewter cap and stored in a fine wooden case hand-made by the awarded artisan Fernando Tanaka," the description further read.

A truly expensive drink for a worthy basketball player who can afford sipping an alcohol beverage this costly.

According to SB Nation, this video of Jordan, who was also seen grabbing a flashlight and messing with his friends while dancing to Big Sean's "Blessings," "is just a bad video" of MJ since it cost him a lot to party like that.

Meanwhile, since Jordan has showed up partying last weekend, fellow NBA legend Larry Bird admitted in a CBS Sports report that Jordan would "crush him" on a one-on-one despite him being a trash-talker back in the day when he was still playing.

"I hate to admit this, but (Jordan) would kill me. I'm forty pounds more than I was when I played, I'm broken down, I really don't care like I used to ... I have a fight in me but it's not the fight that I once had," he said as quoted by CBS Sports.

He, however, clarified that even if he would lose against Jordan, it would still be a pretty close game between the two of them.

This remains to be seen and it would be quite exciting to see both players battle it out inside the court these days.
