After posting a selfie with undefeated American boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Orange is the New Black regular Ruby Rose was attacked by criticisms mostly from Twitter users who expressed disgust on the boxer's history of violence.

According to Independent, Rose posted a photo with Mayweather on her Instagram account with the caption "@floydmayweather the champ!"

"The picture showed a smiling Mayweather with his arm around Rose, who is giving a thumbs up," said Independent.

The same report added that the actress has previously expressed that she wanted to see Mayweather fight inside the ring but she could not afford tickets to his match.

She finally got the chance of her life when she saw the boxer during his training in Las Vegas for his upcoming fight against Andre Berto.

News.com.au also said that Rose has been a "longtime fan of boxing" and the American boxer since she also trained in boxing and event competed in a 2012 charity match.

She is also reportedly the goddaughter of Australian boxing champ Lionel Rose.

This was, however, not taken lightly by Twitter users who posted the following reactions on Twitter:

Independent noted that Rose earned those negative comments online since Mayweather has been charged with domestic battery and misdemeanor for a couple of times since 2002.

All these negative comments were brushed off by Rose, who, according to Daily Mail, ended her week with positive vibe as she spent a "light-hearted weekend" with fiancee Phoebe Dahl playing charades.

A video posted on her Instagram account showed the two enjoying the playing mime-based guessing game along with other friends after they returned from a Las Vegas trip.

"With a mobile phone pressed to her forehead, Phoebe is seen attempting to guess the word on her screen - Lizard - while Ruby mimics, much to the delight of their small entourage," read the video's caption.
