When she spoke at the ESPYS, Caitlyn Jenner made sure that her message is clear: she will strive to help transgender teens.

She echoed the same sentiments in her reality show, "I Am Cait," making it clear in the premiere episode that she's ready to help those who are struggling with their identity.

Although Caitlyn's reality show features a lot of fun moments with her family, she emphasized the need to support the transgender youth, reported Us Weekly.

In the first episode of the eight-part series, she spoke of elevated suicide and murder rates several times. The hour-long footage even showed Caitlyn watching a news report of San Diego teen Kyler Prescott's suicide.

The story affected Caitlyn Jenner so much that she headed down to San Diego, taking every means possible to avoid the paparazzi, in meeting with Kyler's family and friends.

Prescott was only 14 when he took his life in May, and his mother, Katharine, opened up about Kyler's struggle with his identity. Although supportive of their son, even the family's support was not enough to vanquish the intolerance of others.

Early reviews of "I Am Cait" showed positive responses from critics. James Poniewozik from TIME Magazine wrote, "At times the tone can be stiff and cautious, like a public-service announcement, but it's a service nonetheless, lending celebrity's un-turnoffable megaphone to the voiceless, especially kids."

It has also been reported that as long as Caitlyn keeps her goals in mind, "I Am Cait" is going to be a better reality TV show than KUWTK.

Variety's Brian Lowry said, "[Caitlyn] has made a significant contribution to enhancing understanding of the transgender community. Yet given the wider goals she has espoused, the more the series keeps the spotlight trained squarely on its namesake - and away, even at the periphery, from keeping up with the Kardashians - the better."

The Daily Beast praised Caitlyn's sincerity in her cause, saying that "I Am Cait" is the good kind of reality.

The outlet's review said that "It's responsible, but not stuffy in the way that word might suggest. It's a joyous, emotional, and only occasionally preachy depiction not only of a woman's coming into her own, but of her acceptance of the influence that's been bestowed on her merely by her high-profile decision to live as her truest self."

Caitlyn Jenner wants to get it right - the responsibility she has for the LGBT community - and for her sake, as well as for the sake of transgenders everywhere, here's to hoping she gets it right, too.

"I Am Cait" will premiere on July 26 on E!
