The most awaited Lumia 950 and 950 XL are expected to come packed with great features, as revealed by recent leaks of the two devices.

TechRadar even mentioned that the handsets will be the first phones to come with a Windows 10 Mobile operating system.

With their expected release on the last quarter of the year, the public is curious on what they could expect from these two devices. Below are some of the top specifications that users and fans can expect.

Windows 10

As mentioned, both phones will already run on the Windows 10, which PocketLint said would be launched by the end of this month.

Digital Trends said the Windows 10 for mobile will allow users to browse and buy applications through a new application store.

"In the store, you can also buy Movies and TV shows right now, but music remains unavailable. However, the new music app is now available, and it gives you access to the music you've got on the phone, as well as the songs stored on OneDrive," the same report added.

Aside from this, the new Windows will reportedly bring to the phone other "universal apps" like the Microsoft Office, with users getting access to them in exactly the same way they use it on a personal computer.

Better display and resolution

It was added in the TechRadar report that the Lumia 950 is rumored to have a 5.2-inch 2K resolution screen and will run on a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM and a 3,000 mAh removable battery.

The Lumia 950 XL, on the other hand, will reportedly have a bigger 5.7-inch screen with the same 2K resolution. Its processor will allegedly be an octa-core Snapdragon 810 CPU with 3GB of RAM, and a 3,300 mAh removable battery.

USB-C and metal frame

VMPowerUser indicated that leaks of the devices' specifications also include slim metal bodies and a USB-C support.

Camera

According to Yibada, the Lumia 950 will have a 20 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, while the Lumia 950 XL will also come with a 20 MP rear camera equipped with triple LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter.

Memory

Phone Arena said that the devices will have a 32 GB built-in memory with support for micro SD memory expansion.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has indicated in the same report that they will make fans and users like their upcoming releases.

"If nobody wants to make Windows phones, we will make them ourselves," he added, noting that there will be great changes in their phones.

Fans will surely be excited about the release of these two flagship phones in the coming months. Are you?
