A video of pop superstar Taylor Swift showing she can't do well in the MMA scene has circulated and this was reportedly done in preparation for her "Bad Blood" video.

It was stated in an initial TMZ report that the singer "can't fight for a damn." The report added that Swift was seen punching and executing neck strikes, though it appeared awkward and made it look like she needed more training.

The video, which was posted on the singer's Instagram account, also showed that she wanted to perfect her "butt-kicking" move for the music video. It came with the caption "Throwback to my first day of fight training for the Bad Blood music video. Thank you so much for the 9 nominations. You can vote for Video of the Year NOW!!!"

Daily Mail notes that the singer had a raging expression as she threw a series of punches and kicks for the star-studded video that features Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, Cara Delevingne, Ellen Pompeo, Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss, Jessica Alba, Serayah, Hailee Steinfeld, Lena Dunham, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Kendrick Lamar, Mariska Hargitay, Hayley Williams and Cindy Crawford.

Her video post came after she received a Video of the Year nomination for "Bad Blood" at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Swift's millions of fans and followers were rejoicing because of the news, except for rapper-singer Nicki Minaj who slammed the awards nomination for not including her hit singles for this year.

"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year. Oh but trust me. I'll be on that stage to collect my awards for vid of the year. Feeling Myself & Anaconda," Minaj tweeted.

To this, Swift replied with "@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."

The rapper replied that she was not referring to Swift although it was a bit obvious that it was the "Style" singer she was pointing to.

"Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @TaylorSwift13," said Minaj.

According to E!Online, Minaj clarified that her tweet had noting to do with Swift.

"White media and their tactics. So sad. That's what they want," the rapper added.

For her part, Swift again tweeted Minaj with an invite in case she wins the award.

"@NICKIMINAJ If I win, please come up with me!!" Swift tweeted. "You're invited to any stage I'm ever on."
