There are much things to look forward to in the upcoming "WWE 2K16," including new characters.
Product Reviews, in a recent report, said that an update of the game's roster list confirms the appearance of Boogeyman.
On his Twitter account, Boogeyman himself confirmed the news with the post "BOOGEYMAN WWE2k16...make some noise WWE UNIVERSE."
It was noted by Product Reviews that he could either be part of the roster or that he, reportedly, is "using social media to convince the likes of Triple H and Vince McMahon to put him in the game."
Another iDigitalTimes report indicated that Total Divas star and NXT competitor Eva Marie released a picture showing that she recorded a commercial for the upcoming game. The same report said that despite the absence of the full clip, taping a commercial could mean that the Diva could already be part of the game.
"In fact, the only other person we know has recorded a commercial for the game -- besides Steve Austin -- is WWE Champion Seth Rollins. And Rollins was one of the first six performers confirmed to appear in 'WWE 2K16,'" added iDigitalTimes.
Prior to this, a promotional video was released on YouTube showing the game's development team. The video showed the motion capture session of NXT champion Finn Bálor.
Meanwhile, Yibada said fans were not happy with the selection of Steve Austin as the cover star of 'WWE 2K16."
"Some think a newer WWE superstar like Kevin Owens deserves a spot on the game's front cover more than Stone Cold," Yibada noted.
The outlet added that despite Austin being a wrestling legend, fans now want to see new WWE superstars who were able to establish their name in a short span of time -- Owens being an example. Owens is likewise expected to go against John Cena this weekend at the WWE Battleground 2015, seen as one big fight for both wrestlers.
Owens' smooth transition into the WWE is said to be the key to his success and fame. Apparently, some fans want to see more of that and make him a great example for other young wrestlers.
Yibada added that having Owens as the cover of the game would have indicated that the WWE is looking forward into its future by developing and highlighting new talents.
Scheduled for released on October 27, "WWE 2K16" is still currently being developed for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Players can, however, preorder the game online for $59.99.
