Recently leaked images of Motorola's third-generation smartphone which is slated to launch this year reveals its new white design.
NDTV Gadgets reported that the new press renders showed the handset as "white colour in full glory."
It added that the phone's front image is almost similar to that of the Moto G 2nd Generation, but said that there is a change with its back panel.
"The company seems to likely go for LG-like strip near the rear camera on its Moto G (Gen 3)," NDTV said. "The vertical, silver strip at the back houses the rear camera at one end and the Motorola logo at the other."
Another feature spotted on the new phone is a dual-LED flash.
According to VCPost, many leaks suggest that the device will come out before the year ends.
Motorola president Rick Osterloh has not revealed anything definite about its release date.
"We try to stay on a roughly annual cycle for all of our products," Osterloh said on his Twitter account.
VCPost added that the Moto G was recently spotted at a benchmark testing with model number AP3560AD1K8, sending a message of the near arrival of the phone.
The report also said the device is expected to have an 8GB internal memory, 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC supported by 2GB of RAM, and 4G LTE capability.
The upcoming Moto G release is also believed to sport a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera.
For its display, Yibada said the handset will come with a 5-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution.
Sentinel Republic reported that the Moto G 2015 will have Wi-Fi capability and Bluetooth connectivity options and is also expected to come with a 3.5mm headset jack and a micro USB port.
The anticipated price tag of the device is said to be around $179, reported Yibada. This amount parallels the price of the Moto G 2014 when it was first released.
NDTV Gadgets said Motorola India has recently slashed the price of the Moto G 2nd Generation which is now $47.29 cheaper than its release price. This price slash could mean that a new device will soon be available in the market.
According to VCPost, there is also the possibility that the Moto G 3rd Generation will be announced at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) exhibition this September along with the Moto X, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Fans are certainly looking forward to the announcement. The new device could well be a powerful smartphone from Motorola.
