'Downton Abbey' Season 6 Spoilers & Premiere Date: How Show Could Wrap Everything Up

It's no secret that "Downton Abbey" is wrapping up the entire series by next season, but fans are going to have a hard time letting go, considering the many plots that the show will have to tie together for a proper wrap-up. And it's not even because the series has been cancelled -- producers really just thought it was time to let it go.

The question is how could they let the fans do the same thing when the show will finally meet its end? Movie Pilot seemed to have an answer for that.

Lady Edith's series of bad lucks should run out, either by the show finally giving her the happy ever after that she deserves or just cut her off from her family completely and tragically.

Isobel Crawley's love life has always been in question as she straddles between her relationships with Lord Merton or the family's doctor, Richard Clarkson. At one point or another, she has to choose and the rest of the audience should be there to know exactly who she's going to end up with.

Tom Branson should also make up his mind about moving to America, and until the show finally decides whether or not he'll be staying at Downton, his character could go whichever way for the future (could there be a spinoff with the show going stateside if he does move across the pond?)

Matthew Goode graced the show with his presence last year, to the tune of flirting with Lady Mary for the Christmas Special. With the actor confirmed to have a part somewhat in the final season, there could be a chance that the flirtation with Lady Mary could be a full-fledged romance and she would definitely deserve to have that.

Speaking of Lady Mary, Michelle Dockery, after playing her part in "Downton Abbey", will cast and executive-produce a TNT series called "Good Behavior", based n the Letty Dobesh books by Blake Crouch, as confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.

But back to more pressing matters:"Downton Abbey" creator and writer, Julian Fellowes, has promised that he will tie up all the loose ends still in the series, however, he didn't promise a happy ending for all of them, as Day Herald noted. He also knew that the end will leave the show's fans wanting more, but let's face it, you just can't always get what you want, especially when it comes to finales.
