San Diego Comic-Con is the best avenue for resurrected TV shows to create more buzz, and it's definitely the case for "Heroes: Reborn."

The "Heroes" panel present at the SDCC gave the audience the best look yet into the new series in a three-minute trailer.

Creator Tim Kring, who will be involved in "Reborn" as much as he was in the original run, kicked off the show's panel by telling the audience at Comic-Con (via Mashable), "We had a long rest and we're ready to save the world again."

Kring also noted that in the series, discovering power has a whole new meaning.

"Now, if you were to wake up with a power in our thing, it'd be a very, very bad thing," he said.

"It takes the basic idea of the show and cranks it up a bit...There are a little more stakes."

Levi, best known for his role in "Chuck," said about his new "Heroes" character, "Chuck never killed anyone, and Luke Collins believes in using a Glock."

Mashable mentioned that in the full-length trailer, Levi's Luke is as good as he's going to get with a gun as he goes on a killing spree for EVOs.

"Reborn" will be set five years after evolved humans or "EVOs" were made public, and each of them is under attack by the public not willing to accept their powers. Among the fan favorites in the trailer is the sword-weilding Hiro Nakamura, whose time-travel abilities shows up to save Sendhil Ramamurthy's Mohinder Suresh from a difficult situation.

The teaser showed supernatural phenomenon with a selection of new, inspiring heroes with extraordinary abilities in a struggle between good and evil

However, while there are a lot of new faces to see, fan favorites from the original series will also be making appearances, including Jack Coleman as HRG/Noah Bennett, Jimmy Jean-Louis as The Haitian, Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, and Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman.

There seems to be one person missing from the trailer though: Hayden Panettiere's Claire Bennett, the "indestructible" cheerleader whose storyline is the focus of the original series (Save the cheerleader, save the world) may not be returning.

The Daily Mail reported in May that her character may have been killed off ahead of "Reborn".

The rest of the cast, according to the Coming Soon Website, include Zachary Levi Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski, Gatlin Green, and Ryan Guzman.

Check out the trailer below and see how excited you are for "Heroes: Reborn," which premieres at 8PM on September 24.
