It was only this year that HTC's One M9 was revealed, but enthusiasts of the Taiwanese-based mobile manufacturer are already looking forward to the One M10.
In a report by Venture Capital Post, fans were disappointed with the One M9, as there were overheating issues with its Snapdragon 810 chipset, which resulted to declining sales.
The website also stated that the release failed to stimulate enough interest from fans. Listening to consumer feedback, CEO Cher Wang made it a point to not only surpass the current HTC flagship, but make the upcoming HTC One M10 a hot smartphone commodity.
Looking at the positive traits of HTC One M9, the phone is still deemed elegant and powerful. VCP reported that the camera was pretty much below average and the battery was not that as powerful as hoped.
But before fans start talking about the HTC One M10, HTC is not going to go down without a fight. They plan to release a phone that will serve as a stopgap for M9 and M10, which will be called HTC Aero.
According to HTCViet, the new HTC Aero will showcase a 1440 x 2560 QHD screen, Gorilla Glass 4 and 2.5D glass.
The aspect that will set the Aero apart from the One M9 is its crystal clear resolution. However, it is not considered a breakthrough as the HTC One M9+ has the same feature.
The phone will also feature a powerful camera with an f/1.9 aperture, which is most suitable for low-light photography. It will also be capable in storing photos as RAW files.
The One M10 features are expected to include a 5 MP Front Camera, 27 MP Rear Camera, and a 5-inch display with incorporated 4K resolution, which has been a must for upcoming smartphones.
The phone will have 64/128 GB of internal memory, 4GB RAM, and a wireless charging function. This is not the first smartphone to have the feature, but it is something that HTC One M9 lacked.
VCP reported that HTC avid users might get their hands on the said device fall of this year or March 2016.
