The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is said to give the fans and users something great to look forward to.

GSM Arena reported that the new device will have dual-edge display curves on a 5.7-inch diagonal screen.

"This one will come with a Snapdragon 808 SoC, which by the time of launch will likely be the manufacturer's third most powerful, behind the S820 and S810 models," the report said.

The handset will also reportedly have 32GB of storage, a 16MP primary camera that is capable of OIS and 2160p video recording, and a 5MP front camera perfect for selfies.

GSM Arena added that the newest in Samsung's Galaxy S series will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery and have Android's Lollipop 5.1.1 when it becomes available to the market.

Adding to CNET, the S6 Edge Plus would feature a design similar to that of its predecessor, with the exception of tapered sides.

Phone Arena said that the S6 Edge Plus will have dimensions of 154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85 mm and a 5.5-inch display. This is reportedly a taller and wider version of the S6 Edge, which is 142.1 x 70.1 x 7 mm.

Geeky Gadgets also reported that the upcoming device will have 3 GB of RAM and have additional storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB.

There is still no definite price for the S6 Edge Plus, but it is estimated to cost more than the S6 Edge.

For its other features, GSM Arena detailed that the phone will come with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, wireless charging, Smart Stay, OneDrive (115 GB cloud storage), active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, and S-Voice natural language commands and dictation.

This S Voice feature will reportedly recognize voice commands of users "right away" and can launch phone applications in seconds.

In describing the feature, Samsung said that the S Voice "responds to you: you can tell the phone to wake up, answer an incoming call, or even take a photo."

With its great features, the device is expected to go against the powerful iPhone 6 Plus, as reported by SlashGear.

"The name hints that this is Samsung's answer to the iPhone 6 Plus, albeit with the usual larger Samsung size and curved edges. Both are also said to have glass backs similar to the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, which could mean they also don't have removable batteries or microSD card slots," the same report explained.

Samsungn is expected to release the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus within the year.
