Jon Snow's death on HBO's "Game of Thrones" is probably one of the most debated-about finales in the show's 5-year-run. And because the series has finally caught up with the books, for the first time since the show aired, book-readers can't hold it over the heads of other fans that they know what's happening next.

Maybe because of the fact that Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) is one of the top contenders of the Iron Throne, many people are still in denial about his death, as proven by the many websites and forums discussing the possibility of his return. On the other hand, showrunners DB Weiss and David Benioff, as well as Harington himself, are adamant about the character being dead for good.

Now, another fan-favorite character spoke about Jon Snow's fate, and fans are not going to like what she had to say.

While promoting her "Always #LikeAGirl" campaign, Maisie Williams (who plays Arya Stark) debunked all theories about Jon Snow's return in Season 6, which was fired up when he was spotted still sporting his character's hair. Williams told E! News, "I think people are trying to be very positive about this, like, 'It's fine. He's coming back. He's totally coming back, right? He's going to come back?' I'm like, 'I don't think so. I'm very sorry!' I don't know, maybe he wanted to keep the hair in the end."

She added, "We saw him get stabbed like five times in the chest, I think he's gone. I mean, I could be wrong, but I really don't think so."

Williams also made the possibility of Jon Snow returning as a White Walker seem ridiculous when she said, "I'm like, 'Really, we'd bring back Jon Snow as a White Walker?!' OK, you can believe what you'd like."

As for Carice Van Houten's Melisandre, who arrived at Castle Black just as Jon died, Williams thinks she's too selfish to bring him back to life.

In a separate interview with People, the 18-year-old admitted that a lot of fans have been hurt by Jon Snow's demise. However, she points out that it's what the show does.

"If you haven't learned that by now, well, I can't help you," she said.

Not that her statements will tone down the theories and rumors that fans have going in social media, blogs, and forums. As Vanity Fair pointed out, she could be employing techniques taught to the recently-blinded Arya by Jaqen H'ghar, just to throw fans off.

Do you believe Maisie Williams when she said that Kit Harington's character is never coming back to the show?
