Hearsays about Samsung's Galaxy S6 Plus and Galaxy S7 continue to pile up as days pass by.

We listed how the Galaxy S7 compares with the Galaxy S6 Plus. Note that these pieces of information are all rumors at the moment and an official announcement from Samsung is yet to be had.

Iris Recognition Technology

ValueWalk claimed that Samsung is developing iris recognition technology to integrate to its future devices. Security features are an important part of every smartphone, and it is said that the tech giant is planning to use iris recognition in its product range in 2016.

Design, Display, & Camera

ValueWalk said that the Galaxy S7 will have a 4K Super AMOLED display. The handset is expected to have a whopping 30 megapixel primary camera and a 10 MP front shooter.

The Galaxy S6 Plus has a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, GSM Arena wrote. Its camera is a 16 megapixel with a 5 MP front shooter.

Forbes reported that the Galaxy S6 Plus will be an oversized version of the Galaxy S6 Edge, measuring at 5.5 inches. A leaked render of the device shows a standard microUSB port instead of a larger USB Type-C port.

Processor & RAM

The Galaxy S7 will run using a 64-bit Exynos 3.5 GHz processor together with 4 GB of RAM space, ValueWalk noted. It is also said to be equipped with 5G network bands that improve browsing and Internet usage. A super fast Wi-Fi connectivity will mark the Galaxy S7 as a next generation smartphone.

The Galaxy S6 Plus is said to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, GSM Arena noted. It has 2 GB of RAM space with 32 GB internal memory. Bidness ETC claimed that the handset will come with the Android 5.1.1.

Release Date & Price

Samsung is in a stiff competition with Apple for so long now. To catch up with Apple's upcoming releases of their new products, ValueWalk wrote that Samsung has already started working on the Galaxy S7. This means that the smartphone will be released this year prior to the Galaxy Note 5.

However, the 2015 release date of the Galaxy S7 also means that Samsung will unveil two new Galaxy products in the same year, the news outlet added. If this rumor turns out to be true, the corporation is expected to release a device with outstanding specifications and features. Tech Times speculated that the Galaxy S7 will cost between $750 and $850.

The Galaxy S6 Plus, on the other hand, is said to be released in either July, August, or early September, Bidness ETC wrote. PC Advisor speculated that the smartphone will be priced around $1099.
