Fans of the 90s surely enjoyed the appearance of Sean "Diddy" Combs at the 2015 BET Awards. But things literally went south when the hiphop mogul fell through a hole while performing on stage at the Microsoft Theater, as noted by CTV news.

Combs fell when he missed to notice a hole that was used for Lil Kim's grand entrance. Wearing dark shades and a red jumpsuit, the artist, also known as Puff Daddy, swiftly dropped into a gaping hole in the middle of the stage.

Diddy definitely knew how to make light of the situation. He even shared a video of his fall to his Instagram followers. In his post, he said:

"I was getting so loose I fell! LOL, but really though I busted my ass! #finnaGetLoose #AppleMusic ... Puff Daddy & The Family feat @pharrell ... if you ever fall down, get your ass up and fight! But really though, I crack up every time I see this **! It's like I f***ing disappeared. HAAAAAA! I was scared as f*** but I had to get up! #BADBOY".

After the blunder, Diddy was tasked to introduce soul legend Smokey Robinson. He seemed to have a pretty tough time reading his prompts and said, "I'm sorry, y'all. I'm a little nervous because we just celebrated 20 years and it's like a big deal for me, so thank you all for being with me. I appreciate you. I've got to do it right for Smokey, can you start it again?" Diddy was presenting Robinson with the BET Lifetime Achievement Award for all his contributions to music.

On the same night, the late icon Notorious B.I.G. was honoured with a tribute video featuring the east coast legend. Finally, the fans got what they wanted, as Diddy and Pharrell Williams performed the world premiere and TV debut of their newest song "Finna Get Loose."

Despite the fall, new and old fans of hiphop alike enjoyed the night as Diddy performed with Faith Evans, French Montana, Ma$e, and other huge artists who have signed on Combs' Bad Boy music label.

Months before the awards, rumors of a Bad Boy label reunion have been making its rounds. Several artists from the hiphop label hinted on the reunion through social media. But Jadakiss calmed all speculations when he posted a photo of the Bad Boy artists in rehearsal on his Instagram account saying, "I thought I told you.....That we won't stop."
