Bristol Palin, the oldest daughter of American politician Sarah Palin, confirmed though her Patheos blog post that she is pregnant with her second child. She also addressed the people who criticized her for being a hypocrite and speculated that she will undergo abortion.

Famed for being a public speaker about conservative values, Bristol is well-known for finishing third place in "Dancing with the Stars" and for starring in the show "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp." 

Through her blog, she clarified the details behind her current pregnancy. She said that while she made a mistake, it is not the same kind of mistake that her haters would like to assume. She added that the pregnancy was actually planned and that she's moving on with life with a positive spirit.

Bristol, in defense of her new pregnancy, said that she does not regret the child nor consider her pregnancy a disappointment. In fact, she could not wait to become a mother again.

She even said that Tripp, her first-born child from fiancé Levi Johnston, will become a great big brother to the new baby. 

"I'm not 17 anymore, I am 24. I've been employed at the same doctor's office for over six years now; I own a home; I have a well-rounded, beautiful son," she wrote.

"When I realized I was pregnant, I knew I would be completely crucified. But I never even thought of aborting this child, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE. (Sorry to the ghouls at Gawker, who said this baby is an argument FOR abortion. Not happening.)" 

It can be recalled that just last March, Fox News reported that Bristol got engaged with Dakota Meyer. However, two months later, the joyous proclamation turned to a bitter end as her mother, through a Facebook post, announced that the wedding has been called off.

However, people cannot help but compare the second to Bristol's first pregnancy and criticize her. Despite her eagerness towards the new pregnancy, Sarah appeared to be less cheerful by writing that she has been working her best to be confident and positive about the issue, because it would certainly be a disappointment to her family.

"I am pregnant. This is not the ideal situation, but life is important even if it's not in the most absolute ideal circumstance," she wrote. "This is more confirmation on what I've always stood for. I've always been pro-life and I am standing for life now."
