Daniel Bryan took on Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Family to start off the show, losing to him via disqualification after Bray Wyatt interfered in the match. Bryan managed to fend off the sneak-attack, knocking Wyatt out with a flying knee to keep the buzzards away.
The WWE Tag Team Champions - Goldust and Cody Rhodes - lost to the team of The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro with manager Zeb Colter) in a non-title match.
Mark Henry defeated Damien Sandow by count-out, walking out the ring rather than face "The World Strongest Man," while Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston did commentary during the match. Langston is set to defend his title against Sandow at TLC.
WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and her bodyguard Tamina were victorious over the E! Total Divas' Bella Twins in a tag-team.
The Shield's Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins beat the Usos in a tag-team match. After the bout CM Punk came on the TitanTron and threatened to take out as many members of The Shield he could possibly take in their 3-on-1 Handicap match at TLC.
The Big Show, accompanied by Rey Mysterio, defeated Ryback, who was accompanied by Curtis Axel. Big Show and Ryback started brawling outside the ring after the match, with Mysterio and Axel also getting involved. Mysterio ended up tripping up Axel in the ring and set him up for the 619, only for Axel to eat a WMD from the Big Show after Mysterio finished his attack.
Alberto Del Rio versus Kofi Kingston was a no-contest after The Miz attacked Kingston prior to the match, laying him out with the Skull-Crushing Finale.
WWE Champion Randy Orton came out to the ring to apologize to WWE C.O.O. Triple H after knocking down Stephanie McMahon during the melee at the end of Monday Night Raw, promoting his title unificaton Tables, Ladders, & Chairs match at TLC. Orton harped about getting Pedigree'd by Triple H after he saw his wife laid in the ring during his apology. Triple H accepted his apology, talking down to the WWE Champion, and warned him that it would be just this one time, to end the show.
