Business magnate and presidential hopeful Donald Trump lashed back at spanish broadcast TV network Univision after it announced that it did not want to have anything to do with the Miss Universe Organization and backed out of the contract to air the Miss USA pageant.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Trump, who recently announced his bid for the presidential race, hit back at the TV station through a letter he issued to its CEO, Randy Falco, on Friday.

Univision withdrew its support to Trump's Miss Universe Organization because of his "insulting remarks to Mexicans" during his announcement to run for presidency.

"Please be advised that under no circumstances is any officer or representative of Univision allowed to use Trump National Doral, Miami - its golf courses or any of its facilities. Also, it's too bad you didn't have the courage to call me yourself instead of delegating the task to Beau [Ferrari, exec vp operations]," the letter read.

This was certainly a staunch and tough call for the business mogul who even included a PS note on his correspondence.

"Please congratulate your Mexican Government officials for having made such outstanding trade deals with the United States. However, inform them that should I become President, those days are over," read the letter, which was also posted in full on his Instagram account.

Aside from this hit at the network, Trump also posted on his social media account the letter sent by anchor Jorge Ramos, asking for an interview with the caption. "Univision said they don't like Trump yet Jorge Ramos and their other anchors are begging me for interviews." As of Saturday morning the posts, however, had been deleted.

Variety noted that the issue escalated when he made the remarks against Mexican migrants at a news conference at the Trump Tower in New York.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending the best. They're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems. They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime. They're rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they're telling us what we're getting," he said.

Trump has also expressed plans to sue Univision for breach of contract since Miss USA is already scheduled for telecast this coming July 12.

In explaining the potential charge, TMZ said that Trump will sue the television company for "hundreds of millions of dollars" since he claimed that it has a 5-year-deal with his organisation to air Miss USA.

He noted that Univision should not have backed out of the contract which was just signed this July for the sole reason that he made those comments against Mexicans.

"I love the Mexican people, but I'm running for President and our country comes first," Trump noted.

It seems like this issue is just getting started as both are firm on their stand on the issue and nobody is backing down.
