Rumors about Apple's iPhone 6S/iPhone 7 are just starting, but speculations about the iPhone 8 are already going around. If the reports are to be believed, the iPhone 8 will have a completely different display than its predecessors.

Display & Design

A report from Business Korea claimed that the future iPhone will have a curved or flexible OLED display as a way to compete with other smartphones currently boasting the same kind of screen.

OLED screen, which stands for "organic light-emitting diode," are capable of solving Apple's products' existing weak points such as color saturation, accuracy, and brightness, Business Korea noted. The corporation is currently utilizing the OLED technology in the Apple Watch, BGR noted.

Apple is also said to be in consideration over removing the Home button on the future iPhone and fitting it in the screen, BGR wrote. This is a way to extend the display, with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor possibly contained in the screen as well.

3D Images
