The release of the "Fallout 4" Pip Boy Edition is scheduled to come out by November 10 but fans are already very excited to experience the game and what it has to offer.
According to GottaBeMobile, video game publisher Bethesda confirmed earlier this month the successor of the "Fallout 3" installment, which was released way back in 2008.
"The game is Fallout 4, a new installment in the Fallout series that builds on the foundation left behind by Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas in 2010," the same report noted.
The announcement of the game during the E3 2015 in Los Angeles last week gained a lot of interest from fans especially that it is reported to come with a special edition.
When it becomes available in the market, GottaBeMobile said it will cost $120, but it warned that the game could be hard to find days prior and after its release.
"Fallout 4 is an extremely popular game with an extremely loyal fanbase. The Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition of the game is very unique and very intriguing. It's also in demand," the report revealed.
In a similar writeup, Kotaku said the next installment to the "Fallout" series will allow players to bring PC mods to consoles just like the "Unreal Tournament 3" though it did not really gain popularity after.
Now, there is an assurance from Bethesda that mods will be handled differently in "Fallout 4" despite the fact there were restrictions for the consoles as per the experience of Unreal Tournament.
"There may have been a small number of mods we couldn't approve because of intellectual property/copyright issues. I don't recall ever having to reject a mod because of nudity/obscenity, but we would also have restricted mods based on those concerns," Unreal Tournament project lead Steve Polge said in the Kotaku report.
Meanwhile, Cinema Blend said that there is a possibility that the PS4 version could also support mods but Sony will have the last say on it.
"We will be. Well, we're going to make every effort to. If Sony says no, we won't, but I don't think they will. But, you know, it will come out on PC first. So early 2016, the creation mod for the PC, and then we're going to make that work on the Xbox One, and then we're going to do the PS4 version," Bethesda director Todd Howard said in the Cinema Blend report.
As for its crafting system, GamesRadar explained that it will be Minecraft-inspired. Bethesda's Pete Hines said in the same report that this will allow users to put the pieces they want in the places they want.
"You build the furniture that goes in the house. If you don't have the materials you have to go find enough wood to make your chair," he explained.
