Rumors and speculations about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 continue to present themselves as weeks pass by. With that in mind, we compiled the latest reports about the tech giant's alleged device. Note that these are all currently unconfirmed and official news from Samsung is yet to be announced.

Design & Display

Citing a report from Naver, Gotta Be Mobile translated that the Galaxy Note 5 will come bearing a thin 7.9mm design. There are also rumors saying that Samsung is currently testing two display types for the device's screen: a Quad HD panel and an Ultra HD display.

G for Games wrote that Galaxy Note 5 will have 2K resolution screen.

Processor & Battery

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 5 will be powered either by the Exynos 7422 or the Exynos 7430, which are both CPUs from Samsung. As for its battery, Gotta Be Mobile reported from Naver that the device will run using a 4,100 mAh, an obvious improvement over the Galaxy Note 4's 3220 mAh battery.

More Features

Gotta Be Mobile noted that the Galaxy Note 5 will be equipped by a USB Type-C port, which is also being utilized by Apple for its new MacBook products. USB Type-C is capable of carrying out data transfers up to 10Gbps, which is double the ability of a standard USB 3.0 standard.

There are also claims saying that the tech giant is working on improving the Galaxy Note series' S Pen stylus, the news outlet added. A separate report from SamMobile said that the S Pen will come with an auto-eject feature, allowing the device to emit the stylus pen on itself. Note that this rumor is inspired from patents.

Gotta Be Mobile said that users should also expect an improved camera to be included in the Galaxy Note 5.

Price

PC Advisor speculated that the mobile device will be priced between $840 and $914. Previous Galaxy Note handsets also cost somewhere among these price tags when they were released.

Release Date

According to BGR, the corporation is expected to release the Galaxy Note 5 at this year's IFA event in Berlin, Germany this coming September. This is also the same time that Apple will likely release a new iPhone, specifically the iPhone 6S.

Earlier this month, Samsung's Executive Vice President Rhee In Jong told Bloomberg that Samsung Pay will not be released in July as originally planned. The payment platform was previously said to go with the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but Gotta Be Mobile noted that Samsung Pay will now launch in September, just like the rumored Galaxy Note 5.
