Much has been said about the impending wedding of Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello. Just recently, the "Modern Family" star added fuel to the fire when she teased about her upcoming union with the "Magic Mike XXL" hunk.
"It's going to happen soon," the 42-year-old actress told E! News at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation's Los Angeles Golf Classic on June 8. Vergara added that the ceremony will take place somewhere "very far away [in a] very secret place where nobody is going to find us," the news outlet reported.
"It's on a plane," she quipped, as quoted by E! News.
SAG's event honored Vergara with the inaugural Actors Inspiration Award. The honorary was created to coincide with the foundation's 30th anniversary celebration, whose primary goal is to assist and help actors in the union who are experiencing hardships, Fox News Latino wrote.
"Sofia's support for our programs, commitment to children's literacy and generous charitable giving embody the spirit of this award," said SAG Foundation president JoBeth Williams, as quoted by the news outlet.
Despite her legal problems with ex-fiance Nick Loeb over their frozen embryos, Vergara is not hesitant when it comes to having kids with Manganiello.
As Redbook magazine's cover star for the month of June, Vergara said that she and the actor are planning to have children in the near future. However, she didn't reveal whether she plans to get pregnant herself or use a surrogate like she did with Loeb,
"Joe is younger than me," the Colombian-American bombshell told the magazine. "He's 38. He's never had kids. How am I going to say no? I tell him if we're going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby."
Speaking about her relationship with the 38-year-old actor, Vergara told Redbook magazine that she knew that Manganiello was "the one" for her because they have an easy relationship, adding that they haven't had a big fight.
"I finally realized that relationships don't need to be so much work," the "Hot Pursuit' star told Redbook. "Ever since we met, it's been so easy. I'm very suspicious. I'm like, 'It's not normal that we've been together for nine months and we haven't had a big fight or anything.'"
Vergara also imparted some knowledge about keeping relationships healthy and peaceful, explaining that she has learned to let men be men. According to the actress' explanation to Redbook magazine, it's very important not to control everything and impose authority, "even if you think you can do it easier or better."
