You can't understand a word they're saying, but you love them anyway. In fact, it seems that the sidekicks from Pixar's hit films, "Despicable Me" and "Despicable Me 2," have been so popular, they got their own spinoff called "Minions," which will be out in theaters next month.

With the premiere so close, here are a few things we know for sure about what the minions will be up to:

1) While the first teaser showed a slew of minion masters that included the T-rex, Napoleon Bonaparte, and even Dracula, it seems that there is a longer list of masters that they failed: a caveman, and even a group of kangaroos.

2) It has been established in the first trailer that the film will take place before they met Gru from"Despicable Me." It's no secret that he's not their first master either. More details about this film's evil genius has been revealed though, and to start off, according to Coming Soon, their first potential human master is Scarlet Overkill, voiced by Academy Award Winner Sandra Bullock.

3) As seen in the latest trailer, their first mission was to steal Queen Elizabeth's crown, and they were even successful, with a clip of Bob being crowned king. That didn't fare well for Scarlet, however, so she sent the Minions to a torture room, except that the torture did not go as planned, either.

Also, when Stuart mistook Kevin and Bob as bananas, there is no way to unsee them as the elongated fruits, is there?

The official synopsis as printed on Flickering Myth read:

"Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters-from T. rex to Napoleon-the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression.

But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he-alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob-ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock), the world's first-ever female super-villain. They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind... from annihilation."

The film's voice cast includes Sandra Bullock, John Hamm, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Alison Janney, Katy Mixon, and Jennifer Saunders, and will open in U.S. cinemas on July 8, 2015.
