Floyd Mayweather Jr said that his next opponent has yet to be determined, but the flamboyant American expressed confidence that his next bout will produce great numbers regardless of who his next opponent will be.

Mayweather told Boxingscene that he is still waiting for the decision of his team when he was asked about his next opponent, saying that the decision is up to his team and his role is just to prepare the game plan for his next foe.

"I never know who I'm going to fight. I leave that up to my team. My team comes up with the guy and I go with the game plan," Mayweather said. "Whoever it's going to be, I truly believe we're going to do good numbers. Because once it gets to this level it's a business."

One of the names that is consistently mentioned in talks of Mayweather's next opponent is Amir Khan, who previously stated that he is ready to go toe-to-toe with the undefeated American.

When asked about his thoughts on the possible showdown with Khan, Mayweather offered respect to the former British champion.

"Amir Khan, I think he's a young, strong champion," Mayweather said. "I call all these guys champions. I call them champions because even when they get knocked down they get back up and give it their best."

Mayweather was referring to Khan's devastating fourth-round TKO loss to Danny Garcia in July last year, but the Bolton native bounced back with two-straight victories -- one against Carlos Molina in December last year and the other against Julio Diaz in April.

While he admitted that he was not following the career of Khan, Mayweather said that fans should expect an action-packed showdown because he believes Khan will go all out against him.

"I really don't know too much about Amir Khan. But I do know, every time out, the guy comes and fights. If he is the guy, then he's the guy. There's nothing I can do but go out there and execute the game plan and dedicate myself to my craft, which is boxing," Mayweather said.
