While having obsessive fans is not a big deal for many celebrities, stalkers are a different thing altogether, because most of them can be highly dangerous. For Mila Kunis, it's even more so, since a 30-year-old man named Stuart Lynn Dunn was already previously convicted of stalking her.

The man, who was locked in the Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center in Pomona, escaped from the mental health facility last week by climbing out of a bathroom window. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has received information regarding Dunn's whereabouts and he was found Wednesday in an alley in Santa Monica, according to Reuters.

Deputy Chief Reaver Bingham from the Los Angeles County Probation said that officials started looking for Dunn when he didn't return from a shower in the Facility Sunday night. In a statement, the Sheriff's department said, "Mr. Dunn's arrest was the result of the diligent efforts led by the Los Angeles County Probation Department's special enforcements operation and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's major crimes division."

Fox News reported that Kunis was notified immediately of his escape. However, there is no explanation as to his actions. Bingham said on Monday, "We never know the state of mind of an individual. He does have a fixation on the original victim, so that's why."

Dunn was arrested in 2012 when he broke into Kunis' vacant condominium. He was issued a restraining order after, but violated it and was taken into custody after it was reported that he waited for the "That '70s Show" actress outside her gym for three consecutive days, Us Magazine recalled.

According to The Daily Mail, Dunn's sentence included six months of rehabilitation and five years probation, with an order to stay away from Kunis and her representatives for ten years. Reuters added that Dunn was convicted of stalking Kunis in 2013, and was later placed on probation. However, after violating it, he was sentenced to three years in a state prison. He was released early due to good behavior and with work credits, and was transferred instead to the mental health facility where he escaped from.

While many may think that waving away stalkers is part of everyday life for celebrities, the Associated Press noted that this is a more serious issue. According to the outlet, stalking laws have tightened after the model and actress Rebecca Schaeffer was found murdered by a fan in 1989. Her killer is still behind bars and serving a life sentence without parole to this date.
