Former Olympian Bruce Jenner debuted on the cover of Vanity Fair as a woman with a new name: Caitlyn.
Mirror said Jenner posed in an ivory corset for her first appearance as a woman after her shocking confirmation on national television last month about her transition.
After her tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer, many people have speculated what her new name would be. Many people wanted to call her Belinda but he initially refused to reveal any further details except that the name starts with a letter K.
With him coming out on the cover of the magazine, people are eager to know new things about Kris Jenner's ex-husband and below are the most important of them:
* The reason behind the name "Caitlyn"
According to the Mirror, Jenner's son Brody has a girlfriend name Kaitlynn so there is a possibility that he just opted to copy it and simply changed the spelling to C.
* Caitlyn is a better person than Bruce
A similar Hollywood Life article noted that Jenner's female self is "ready to start fresh with her kids." The same report added that the former Olympian has been MIA on some of the life events of her kids but Caitlyn will not make the same mistake. This is also what her children are hoping for after her transformation.
"I have high hopes that Caitlyn is a better person than Bruce. I'm very much looking forward to that," said oldest son Burt Jenner.
* Jenner suffered a panic attack after facial surgery
In her interview with Vanity Fair, the former Kardashian patriarch admitted that he had a panic attack after his 10-hour facial feminisation surgery on March 15.
"What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?" she said noting that a counselor had to talk to her about the phase she was going through at the time.
Jenner added that this thought just crossed her mind once and never came back: "If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,' and I don't want that to happen."
* Girls' nights
As part of her transition, Jenner told Vanity Fair that she started hosting small get-togethers which she calls "girls' nights" and where she usually serves wine and food to female family and friends, including her daughter Cassandra.
"I was just nervous that I wouldn't make her feel comfortable. I was worried I wouldn't say the right things or act the right way or seem relaxed. We talked more than we ever have. We could just be girls together," said Cassandra.
* Fame is not a goal for her transition
Jenner has clarified that her transition was not done to make her more famous.
"I'm not doing this to be interesting. I'm doing this to live. I'm not doing this so I can hit it off the women's tee," she explained.
