A video scandal of three Leicester City English footballers enjoying a racy orgy with Thai female nationals during their visit in Bangkok has enraged the country that has learned to love their team.

According to Bangkok Coconuts, the sex video shows Tom Hopper, Adam Smith and James Pearson, the team manager's son, with Thai women. The players called one Thai national a "slit eye" and threw other explicit comments at her.

Daily Mail noted that the three players started the video by stripping naked and joking around while they engage in sexual acts with the Thai women. In the video, the men could be seen watching the women engage in sexual acts with Hopper and Pearson, who did a high-five after the orgy.

There have been a lot of violent reactions on the web after the emergence of the scandalous video.

One commented, "Disgusting and inexcusable behaviour, exactly the sort of stuff that gives British tourists a bad name when we go abroad."

Another noted that the video is very disappointing.

Sources say Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, who bought the team five years ago, will surely be enraged with this incident.

They have successfully managed the team which has attracted a fan base in the country through a partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

"The last two years working with Leicester City have been an amazing adventure, filled with aspiration, incredible people and some wonderful memories. We are very proud to be working with Leicester City and its supporters, who have embraced the Club's increasingly strong association with Thailand and given the nation a Premier League club its people can take to their hearts," said TAT governor Thawatchai Arunyik.

According to Telegraph, the three players have been sent home to England from their club trip in Thailand after the scandalous video that features racial abuse landed online.

The team has also since launched their own investigation on the incident.

"The board of Leicester City Football Club is deeply concerned about an incident involving three of our young professionals during a trip to Thailand. Our players at every level are expected to behave as representatives and ambassadors for our football club, both on official club duty and in their personal lives, so we treat their conduct extremely seriously," a club spokesperson said.

The club added that they have already met with the players who sincerely wanted to extend their apologies to the women involved in the video, to the club and its owners.

Team manager Nigel Pearson, father of James, has reportedly campaigned against racism and is also a patron of the charity Show Racism the Red Card, as per BBC.
