Maroon 5's Adam Levine is a gift to all women, especially during those times when the band opts to release videos featuring his butt.

The band's new single, "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf***er" just dropped, his derriere making a dream-come-true appearance in the first 30 seconds. While some may argue that this is a not safe for work image, the Huffington Post pointed out that it is set in black and white, so as many would conclude, it's artistic, not pornographic. Besides, it's not like he's doing butt crunches or anything.

Levine made clear on his Instagram his take on the subject by posting a screengrab from the video with a statement on it reading, "FUCK CENSORSHIP." As MTV News mentioned, Adam Levine's backside is now "a matter of pseudo-political significance."

While the video is causing a buzz, the Sydney Morning Herald noted that the song itself may not be a constant on the airwaves anytime soon, considering the heavy bleeping due to the lyrics, and a heavy-footed groove that does not do too well on radio. Most of its hype lay on the matter of Levine's bum.

Sexy, NSFW video aside, Levine was recently seen in London with his wife, Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo, where the band played a secret gig. With the couple and the band is another Angel, Candice Swaeponel. There are more tour dates for the band in Europe, as well. According to The Daily Mail UK, they are also heading to Amsterdam, Morocco, and Germany by the beginning of June.

It seems that the high of being a newlywed is not lost upon the couple yet. The news site noted that in an appearance with Ellen DeGeneres last year, he spoke of the thrill of being a married man, saying, "I use that word right now a lot. I say it for no reason. I say it a lot. 'Wife wife wife.' I love it. I even changed her number in my phone to wife. I never really thought I would (adore it) It's so trippy. I'm a child. How did this happen?"

However, since not all of us can be Behati and very few can have the opportunity to actually be close to the singer, it seems that the vision of his rear end is enough of a consolation prize.
