It seems that stars are forgoing the beach for nature hikes on popular trails.
During the Memorial Day Weekend, the hot pacific island of Hawaii just got hotter with three gorgeous celebrities hiking over its scenic terrains. According to People Magazine, Zac Efron, Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza were spotted on the Lanikai Pillbox Trail in Oahu, looking good while doing so.
The Daily Mail reported that the group was seen trekking up the grassy hills of the island to see the wartime bunker, with Efron climbing the top of the graffiti-covered pillbox. He even posted on his Twitter page later on, a photo of himself at the top of the cliff, captioned, "Trailing up the military pillbox hike in Hawaii and remembering our troops. Thank you for your service #Memorialday."
While the group was likely just hanging out, many noticed that with his hot girl pals, Efron was showing off his impressive biceps in a white tank top, which complemented his toned midriff. To keep the sun at bay, he also sported a backwards baseball cap and sunglasses.
Kendrick, on the other hand, was sporting a simple three-quarters sleeve shirt with a pair of bright turquoise short, while Plaza chose to don athletic tights with plaid shirt wrapped around her waist.
People also noted that the group was actually on location for their comedy film titled, "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates."
The Hollywood Reporter noted that Efron and Adam DeVine will be starring as the titular characters, with Kendrick playing the role of Efron's love interest, a wild child who is a romantic at heart.
Jake Szymanski of "Funny or Die" is directing the film, which is produced by Chernin Entertainment. The duo behind the success of last year's hit comedy "Neighbors," Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O'Brien, penned the script.
"Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" also reunites Kendrick with DeVine. Both appeared in "Pitch Perfect 2," which already has a domestic total of $128,606,360 in the box office as of May 26, based on Box Office Mojo data. Aside from "Mike and Dave," Kendrick is also shooting a thriller, "The Accountant," with Ben Affleck.
Efron, on the other hand, is starring as an aspiring DJ in a flick called "We Are Your Friends" alongside Wes Bentley and "Blurred Lines" video star Emily Ratajkowski. He also starred opposite Robert De Niro and Plaza in a raunchy comedy called "Dirty Grandpa."
