Whenever you think of the "Harry Potter" actors, do you remember them as the cute little kids from the first film, or are you more akin to remembering them in the later years, say, maybe by the seventh film?

Because if you still remember those kids from they were young, recent pictures of Matthew Lewis (AKA Neville Longbottom) should remind you that they're all grown up now, and that puberty fared them well.

Yes, fans were all surprised when little Neville got all hot, but nobody was ready for his red-hot photoshoot for Attitude magazine. Who wouldn't be surprised? As ABC News pointed out, although the magazine showcased Lewis's abs, the inside pages are even more revealing, with the 25-year-old actor wearing only underwear and not much else.

More than fans, "Harry Potter" author JK Rowling herself was such in shock that she felt the need to tweet to the actor, telling him, "Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake." The author was speaking of the time when "Harry Potter" lead actor Daniel Radcliffe starred in a play where he appeared naked.

Of course, realizing how awkward the situation is, Lewis tweeted back to the author, "Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo ..."

The best part was when Rowling supported him anyway, responding, "I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on."

Rowling wasn't the only one who had anything to say about it. Even Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) ribbed the author and Lewis via his own Twitter account, to which Rowling repsonded with, "I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock."

According to News Australia, Lewis is going to have a new role soon, as he just landed a gig starring alongside "Game of Thrones" actress Emilia Clarke for a romantic drama called "Me Before You." Reportedly, this is the reason why he's rocking his toned bod.

For muggles out there wondering whether or not he had to cast a spell to get that rigged, the answer is a big, fat NO. In fact, he told Attitude that he had to make some sacrifices for it.

He shared, "I'm off sugar and I can't really eat carbs. I really wanted to see if I could stick to such a strict regimen, and to really understand what it's like to have a goal like that and really 110 percent go for it." However, he's not keen on keeping his diet, as he also added, "but I can't wait for a pint of lager, I tell you that! The pizza and beer will definitely be making a comeback over the summer."
