An all-new episode of "Sleepy Hollow" kicks off this Monday and it promises to be intense as Ichabod goes on a quest to find the son he never knew he had.

In the last episode of the Fox series, Ichabod learned that he had a son with his wife Katrina, who never informed him that she was with child. Now, he's determined to find out what happened to his son and will go to any extreme to find him.

Ichabod seeks the help of Henry Parrish in the hope to be able to communicate with Katrina who is in Purgatory in order to get answers. However, the Parrish warns Crane of the hidden dangers of going into Purgatory, before he faces dreaded consequences, reports Entertainment Outlook.

In the upcoming episode, which is called "The Golem," John Noble will return to reprise his role of Henry Parrish, the sin-eater. In the preview of "The Golem," Henry warns Ichabod about a death fate. He also attacks him.

An official Synopsis of "The Golem" states, "Mr Crane enlists Henry Parrish (guest star Noble) to help him communicate with Katrina, but in the process, a menacing danger is unleashed from purgatory," the IB Times reports.

According to TV Line, Ichabond's father will make an appearance in one of the upcoming episodes. Executive producer Keri Ken Olin told TV Line that "Ichabod and Abbie will be in even more trouble before the freshman run comes to a close."

"The Golem" premieres on "Sleepy Hollow" Monday, Dec. 9 at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
