Motorola is expected to release two new phones soon, the Moto X 2015 3rd Generation and the Moto G 2015, and fans of the brand are curious on what should be expected from these upcoming devices.

We summarized some of the basic and interesting features of this phone below for comparison:

Moto X 2015 3rd Generation

According to Gospel Herald, this device is expected to have a larger and improved camera when it becomes available in the market between August and October this year.

The same report said that the device could come with a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization capable of recording in 1080p. This is surely better than the 2nd Gen's 13 MP and the Moto X's 10 MP camera.

"Hypothetically, Moto X (2015) camera may have a similar performance as that on the Samsung Galaxy S6. Only time will tell if STJS's unconfirmed information comes true," explained Gospel Herald.

A photo shown by STJS Gadgets revealed that the 3rd Generation Moto X would be capable of 4K recording at 30 frames per second, 1080p recording at 60 and 120 frames per second and 720p recording at 240 frames per second. It is also believed to have a 5MP front-facing shooter.

Phone Arena and STJS Gadgets both noted that the phone may have a resolution panel of 1440 x 2560 and a pixel density of 565 ppi.

The handset is rumored to be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset with 4 GB of RAM.

Motorola has not yet released a tentative price for the Moto X 2015 3rd Generation but if the introductory price tag of the Moto X 2014 will be considered, then the 16GB variant will cost around $425 while the 32GB will be around $475, as per Tech Radar.

Moto G 2015

Christian Today said a leak which spotted the phone at Flipkart with model number AP3560AD1K8 in a white color variant has strengthened rumors that the device will arrive really soon. The device was previously anticipated to be launched next month or in July.

The Moto G 2015 will reportedly sport 8GB internal memory and is rumoured to come with either a 5-inch or a 5.2-inch display, 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC supported by 2GB of RAM and 4G LTE capability.

A similar Ecumenical News report noted that the 3rd Generation Moto G will also have Bluetooth connectivity options and will run on the latest version of Android Lollipop.

As for design, MotoG3 said the phone will have some changes especially in terms of its depth and corners.

"In terms of audio and speakers the phone will have dual front side speaker like it's old brother. The reason behind choosing this type of design is huge Audio Lovers customers," added MotoG3.
