Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 model GT-I9300 will be happy to know that after a brief technical delay, Samsung has started pushing out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean once again for the popular handset.

The Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update is essentially the same as it was before it got pulled off the air due to technical issues. Galaxy S3 owners who receive a download notification will have to tether their device to a Wi-Fi connection due to the large size of the download — this is, after all, the first major new Android version for the Galaxy S3 since Android 4.1.2.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 model GT-I9300 began rolling out in November, however, the upgrade was soon retracted off the air due to numerous complaints from users. It looks like Samsung's confident it's got it right this time around, and barring any more issues, Galaxy S3 owners around the world should soon begin seeing the new firmware show up on their doorsteps. For the time being, it looks like the United Kingdom is the only recipient of the revamped Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update.

For an updated list of which countries the firmware has released in, you can visit SamMobile.

Along with the usual performance and security tweaks, the Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update brings a number of core TouchWiz UI elements over from the new Galaxy S4. The upgrade also contains Bluetooth 4.0 LE support, a requirement for full connectivity with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
