Bruce Jenner's controversial transition into becoming a woman has earned him pages and pages of speculation in the gossip columns of magazines, and although the older girls in the Kardashian-Jenner brood have spoken up about their dad's decision, Kendall has not been very vocal about it, until recently.
The 19-year-old model declared her support for her dad and his transition during the Billboard Music Awards last Sunday night. According to E! News, Kendall spoke to host Giuliana Rancic, admitting, "Honestly, I've never seen him happier. That alone makes me so happy. To see him so happy and to see him going through this and staying so strong and really thinking about his kids is amazing."
Us Magazine noted that the comments made by Kendall came just hours before the premiere of the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" special titled, "About Bruce." In a preview, his daughter broke down when she spoke about her father, saying, "He's the most amazing person I know. I couldn't ask for a better dad."
She also added sentimentally, "He taught me how to ride a bike and be the tomboy that I am. Every single day we went to school 45 minutes away from home, he would drive us to school, he'd be the first one in line to pick us up."
E! News dished other details from the special, especially highlighting how Kendall, when she was a little girl, already sensed the secret that her father has been keeping, but she initially thought that he had been cheating on their mother, Kris. Kendall shared, "I just remember being little and not really knowing what was going on. We would find things like makeup or lipstick, and we thought he was having an affair at one point. And we didn't know what to do, we didn't want our family to be broken up."
However, despite the transition that the Kardashian-Jenner clan is going through, Kris and Bruce's youngest daughter, 17-year-old Kylie, said in a statement shown during Diane Sawyer's 20/20 interview, "We love our dad very much, he has the biggest heart and all we want is for him to be happy. If he's happy, we're happy."
The former Olympian has chosen not to be publicly identified as a woman until he indicates otherwise, so male pronouns are yet to be used until further notice.
What do you think about Bruce's transition and the impact that this had on his family?
