Nintendo is going all out this holiday season. From hardware bundles for the Wii U, 3DS and the new 2DS, Nintendo has nine bundles to choose from, and we're previewing all of them for you in anticipation of their release.
Nintendo has three new Wii U bundles out in time for the holiday shopping season, and all three are available for $299.99. The first is The Legend of Zelda Wii U Deluxe Bundle, which includes a 32GB Wii U and special edition Gamepad based on the legendary series. The bundle also includes The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD game and the The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia Digital Download packed with information about the series. The second bundle is the The Mario and Luigi Wii U Deluxe Bundle that has the 32Gb Wii U, a Gamepad, and the New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U games. Nintendo also has the The Skylanders Wii U Basic Bundle that comes with the 8GB Wii U, Gamepad and the Skylanders SWAP Force game. Three action figures for the game are part of the bundle, including a Wash Buckler in exclusive colors and the Portal of Power needed to bring those figures into the game.
Three different 3DS bundles are being offered by Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda 3DS XL Bundle costs $219.99, and includes the critically-acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and an exclusive half gold, half black 3DS. The Mario and Luigi 3DS XL Bundle is slightly cheaper at $199.99, and includes a silver 3DS and a copy of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Finally, The Luigi's Mansion 3DS Bundle is the cheapest bundle for the handheld at $169.99. This includes a non-XL blue 3DS and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Nintendo has two bundles for the 2DS, and both are very similar. That is because the two bundles are The Pokémon X and Y 2DS Bundles. At $149.99, the bundles include a 2DS and a copy of either Pokémon X or Y. The red 2DS and Pokémon X is exclusive to Target, and the blue 2DS and Pokémon Y is found only at Toys R Us.
The last bundle Nintendo has available is the Wii Mini. This includes an original Wii in red and black, a Wii U remote and Mario Kart Wii. This is available for $99.99 for those looking to find a cheap alternative to the more expensive consoles that have hit the market.
