Batman and Superman may both be members of the Justice League, but in next year's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," they will be at opposite ends, and in that battle, it's going to be a close call on who will win.
Of course, considering that the big conflict could be about the fact that Superman does not answer to anyone (on earth, that is) there's a possibility that by votes alone, the Dark Knight will get more support than the Man of Steel, but as for the battle itself, the latter won't have as much advantage as people may think.
The film's choreographer, Guillermo Grispo, spoke to Los Andes Diario, and translated from its original Spanish by Cinema Blend, Grispo said, "There's a thought that Batman has no chance, that the other [Superman] will squash him like a bug. But when you see the movie, and how it all comes out, there's a very intelligent explanation as to why they could have a first-hand confrontation though it seems to be totally to Batman's disadvantage."
Screen Rant seems to think that Bruce Wayne can call victory over Clark Kent, even without god-like powers. How he will do it remains a mystery, however, there are several theories, like a piece of Kryptonite being uncovered and Batman using it against Superman. Sure, it's old but if Zack Snyder can introduce a new way to use it against the Kryptonian, why not? It happened in the comics, why not translate it to film?
The new Batmobile, according to the International Business Times, looked like it's made to kill, with its uber-futuristic features that could probably give Superman a run for his money. Fans reportedly complained about how the initial trailer looked like an animated cut, but it remains to be seen how the new vehicle will translate in the film.
The site also noted that after the events of "Man of Steel" things may not have gone well for Superman, considering the opening premise of the trailer ---- the whole Metropolis has gone against him, even going so far as to spray-paint on his fallen statue (presumably erected in his honor) the words, "False God." Although there is not much we can learn from the clip alone, there is the possibility that all the power has gone to his head and he thought himself infallible, especially when Batman asked him how he will plead.
This film looks like it's going to have a good fight, so are you excited to finally see this in theaters soon?
